Hva er Arctic Splitboard festival?

Fred har drevet med touring i Finnmarksalpene i over15 år og i 2024 sammen med gode lokale venner fikk han ideen om å lage en festival ut av en ukes splitboarding tur.

Det kom snowboardere fra hele verden og vi hadde en fantastisk festival.

Daglige toppturer med lokale guider slik at vi kom oss til steder ingen vet om; med masse pudder.

Foredrag, yoga, skredkurs, filmvisning, hundekjøring, fisketur og fest siste dagen med lokalt band på samfunnshuset.

Tusen takk til alle som er med å lage denne festivalen til en unik opplevelse. Det har blitt en tradisjon nå - et samlingsted. Velkommen til Finnmark med oss, vi gleder oss til å samles igjen fine folka, fjella og kulturen.

At Arctic Splitboard Festival, we are committed to responsible and sustainable travel.

We aim to minimize our impact on the environment and nature, support local communities and businesses and with respect for the cultural heritage of Finnmark and the Sami and Kven people.

Through thoughtful planning, education, and engagement, we strive to make every adventure low-impact, safe, and respectful of the mountains.

  • SPOR GUIDING

    Spor guiding is a family-owned guide company that are located in Langfjordbotn, the heart of the Finnmark alps.

    Husband and wife, Tore & Gro, and their son Vegard live and runs the company in Langfjordbotn. Tore and Vegard work as guides and are both grown up in these mountains. Gro are managing director and has the big picture of it all. We in Spor guiding has safety and good experiences in nature as our main goal.

  • STRANDA SNOWBOARDS

    Mats Drougge a lover of powder and groomers, founder of Stranda Snowboards and riding sideways since the 70s. I’m shaping snowboards that maximizes float, glide and edge hold, cause it makes me happy. I love snowboarding and want to progress the sport as much as possible.

    Mats our great friend : ASF could not become with out the support of Stranda. Stranda Snowboards wants to make a difference. Their snowboards are built to the highest standards possible using premium materials.

  • KEY EQUIPMENT

    By stepping away from a traditional softboot, we had the chance to totally reimagine the way a snowboard boot is designed.

    Everything from ride feel, hike mode, longevity, and repairability were taken into consideration when designing.

    Tal and Hampus is joining hte festival and if you need a repair or tips we will have a hard boot testing day.

  • ALTA KOMMUNE

    Together with Alta Kommune we are creating a local day together with BUA.

    Arctic Banked Slalom in Langfjordbotn.
